Berlin in winter
Jo has just come back from a few days in Berlin with her art and photography students from Sussex Downs College. It's an incredible city with so much going on but she still managed to fit in the must-see places too such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and Checkpoint Charlie.
Checkpoint Charlie dwarfed by modern Berlin.
She travelled light so just took a super-wide 14 mm f2.8 lens and a fast f1.4) standard lens - not a conventional kit for this sort of thing but good for dramatic scene setting and getting in close.
